shock recomendations? 2000 xj
So, I am planning to lift my 2000 xj (thinking of a 2"-3" suspension lift), and want some shock recommendations. I am not looking for the most $$ parts out there, but I don't want cheap garbage either. I'd like something that would provide a decent road ride. Any recommendations from you experienced jeepers would be most appreciated!

I have a 2" Old Man Emu on mine, and used ProComp shocks. So far so good.
The only bad part was the upper mounting bolts all snapping off like they were made of plastic. Very common issue.
Do yourself a HUGE favor. Even if your bolts don't break off, look on Ebay for Karnage Off-Road products. They make some aftermarket upper shock mounts that are bulletproof and WELL worth the investment. About $60 for the pair.
