So I finally got my CPS replaced and Jeep starts and runs fine. My CE light came on and I performed the key check since a code reader would not produce a code for my 96’.
12 - battery disconnect.....
72 - Catalytic Convertor Circuit ( not sure where to go from here)
56 - Didn’t see anything for this on here.

When I googled 56 it brought up some people talking about right temperature door travel too large???
Also any recommendations on stock fuel tanks. I epoxied a couple to hopefully get me through the hunting season and I have a new leak(s) so I plan to order one next week or try and find one at a junk yard.
Do most junk yards drill holes in them?

I doubt you'll find a decent gas tank in a junk yard, and I would sure not trust one from a junk yard. New aren't all that expensive. If you plan to keep the beast for a while, consider going with new, and do one of the DIY epoxy liners to it before installation.
Another option is to go with the later, polypropylene tanks. No rust. However, the fuel pump is different, and you would need to make sure the pressure is a match.

Some Pick&Pulls I've been to do since that's the easiest way to drain them, but it sucks since they can't sell them then. Most of them are put inside the trunk with the pumps removed. IDK if I'd be wanting to drill them even with a battery drill!

I bought an OMIX 17720 from Quadratec a few months ago which fits well. Measured up to my old tank and looked the same in nearly every way. Used my old straps. No problems so far but I haven't put on a ton of miles. I only bought one grommet, which I should have bought 2.

I am fixing to order a Sherman tank w/new lock ring and gasket and filler/vent hoses from Rock Auto. Anything else I should get before I place it? The fuel pump is brand new and has a new inline fuel filter too.
Tank straps are still in good shape and I used turn buckles instead of buying “J” bolts since they’re freaking stupid expensive.
