Default Engine check light on. Ran OBD2 scanner.

Help.. the check light on. I ran OBD II scanner. It said oxygen sensor circurit fuse. I looked for emission maintenance timer under dash. There are nothing I can find with gears or black box. I checked fuses . All are good. Also both Oxygen sensor plugs and catback are new. It run ok but transmission shifting strange. And Battery Amp increased. Any advice where I should check? Thanks..

Post the EXACT code number here, not a description. With codes, the devil is in the details.

New O2's can be bad also, get it replaced tell them its faulty. IF the code comes back, then something in the circuit is screwy.

That was long gone by '96, replaced by the OBD systems.
What do you mean by "Battery amp increased"?

What do you mean by plug? Do you mean that you replaced the connector to the sensors or the sensors themselves?

If you haven't replaced the sensor, it is the primary suspect.
