Question electrical rookie

i need someone who might know a thing or two about electrical, my 89 xj pops the fusable link that comes from the battery to whatever that silver relay with all the stuff plugged into it is, ive replaced that, map sensor, tps, cps, fuel filter, fuel pump, plugs wires , ground strap, battery cables, just about everything i can think of. anyways the problem is anytime i put it in drive (its automatic) it pops that fuse it dosnt do it in park or nuetral even when i give it gas but as soon as i get goin down the street it pops, last time this happened to me i found the horn relay under the dash was fried so replaced it and its been fine til lately. I took my dash apart and have been looking for a fuse, relay, or wire that looks to be a problem but i cant find anything, if you have any idea no matter how trivial post it up please why else read this long a$$ paragraph haha any help will be apriciated thanks for reading, thanks even more if you offer help

i would disconnect the alt theres a small plug on it underneath next to the frame pull it and drive and see what happens this will cause a no charge issue but you will be fine for a short test drive, how are you fixing the fuseable link when it blows each time

free you are a jeepin genious, it was the wire goin to the alt it had a rubber boot on it so you couldnt see it unless you moved the boot back but the wire was stripped a little and grounding out on the frame, what a relief to have that fixed thanks a ton for steering me in tha right direction
