electrical problem... i need help!

okay. out on the trail yesterday, while sitting at idle waiting for some rigs to pass, my jeep started overheating.
Looking at it, I realized the electric fan wasnt coming on - getting no power from the wires. But thats not all...when this happened, my cigarette lighter & cb also lost power, but my radio works. my cb draws it's power from the spot in the under dash fuse box that's labeled 'BATT'.
So what would make the BATT location & electric fan wiring lose power?
