Default Electrical Issues

Went for a trail run last night started to smell something burning inside and truck shut down... fuse for the blower motor was fried.. I took the dash apart this morning to find a burnt lookin speed switch for the blower fan. However Truck wont start and has no spark any ideas? been though all the fuses have no power to coil but truck cranks over..

is it an 89 that you are working on? if so I would check fro power to the icm under the coil,if no power there then check fusible links off starter relay. Check your ign switch also.

The icm is bolte to your coil it is where the power comes from, you should have power there,if not you can check the ign switch, the best way is to gain access to it by lowering the colum down to get to it. have you checked all your wiring at the fuse box? You may need to un bolt the fuse box and check the connections behind it. Wiring is a pain it takes alot of patience.
