Electrical interruption when starting.
The title may not express the problem i am having. I have a 1996 XJ 4.0 HO. Recently crank times have been getting longer like i had a bad battery. I have the battery and alt checked and both were fine. I cleaned my cables and posts but still had the same symptoms. Recently when starting i will lose all power and my radio would reset. I will wait a second and try to restart with no problem. Before I just start replacing everything from the battery back I wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue. Last night my check eng light came in but i have not had a chance to pull any codes.

I would start by cleaning all of your grounds. There are several writeups about how to do this so I won't repost it here. Just search "ground refreshing" or "how to clean grounding contacts." That will get you started.
