Recently my left blinker in my 99 cherokee classic had started blinking faster than normal, didnt think anything of it at the time, last night i turned on the hazard lights, they failed to work at first, i touched the switch again and it kicked on, no problem. so afterwards i try to use my left blinker, nothing at all, then the right, nothing at all. Sound familiar to anybody?

Did you check to see if the bulbs are working? Usually when one is out it'll blink faster, the front I think.
If the bulbs work I would check the fuse.

Oh and the flasher unit should make a ticking sound when activated. If the bulbs work and there's no ticking from the flasher, check the wires . 97 and up uses a combo flasher that works both turn signals and hazards. It's under the dash by the steering column.
