Default EGR replacement question

87 Waggy 4.0L/4WD

I've decided to just replace the EGR under the heading of it's probably time. The EGR on there now has one vacuum line and is the style that is shown for the 2.5 engine. The one in the book for my model year has the black check valve and two vacuum lines.

Which style EGR should I use as a replacement? Is there a difference between the two other than the $20 price tag?

Thanks!
Jan

EGR's only get replaced when the diaprham breaks, the pintle get stuck open/ closed.

So as long as the back of the EGR moves, I do not need to replace it?

Even if it looks like it is as old as the Jeep and the Jeep is running rich?
