Hey all recently picked up a 2000 xj and have been loving it since I left my yj. Now the headlights are pretty bad so I've been looking into h5 upgrade. I found these projectors on ebay with an hid kit also. I was wondering if anyone had and experience with these or maybe something similar http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-C...item336c937b2e

Ive got the same exact projectors on my jeep but a differnt HID KIT
(ALTHOUGH i can see it already somebody will post in here those arnt real projectors blah blah )


They work great focus the light extremely well doesnt let it scatter all over....

I was looking into hid lights as well and heard eBay ones can be garbage idk how much that's true? but somethin to think about

 

All of my ebay and automotive lighting experiences have been very bad.

 

I got some "projectors" for like $30 a while ago and just ordered my hid's like 15 minutes ago for $36 but they gave me an option of bulb type and temp

^ Another good question. They can and do give tickets for that. Besides the fact, I hate improperly aimed lights because I hate being blinded as well. Common courtesy.

 

stereodesigner do you have a link to the housing? and is it H4 or H7

 

Mine do not... with the correct housings and i have mine aimed down a tad i do not blind people.... Cops do not give me problems
