ok,i need to flush my radiator..what hose should i disconnect to do so? a pic. will be very helpfull...THANKS!!!!!!! N GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!

take out your drain plug on the side of your radiator and then remove the thermostat housing remove the thrmostat the seal it back up the open ur radiator cap put a running hose in it then start it for a few
then trun it off replace the thermostat and housing the plug the radiator bak up and fill her up

i flushed mine a few weeks ago and it worked fine just taking the drain plug out. what i did was i drained it. then closed the plug. filled it up with water. ran it for 3-5 mins. drained it. kept the plug open and just stuck a hose in.
drained all that out. closed it up and filled with coolant.
but i mighta been wrong haha

ok thanks alot!!! got it all done!! another one of many firsts for me..one small step for man...one giant(not really) step for D.DAYII..........i almost always fix,or repair things,---well everything with my hammer...

not on an XJ, but on my old ranger, sticking a hose into the radiator wouldn't flush the heater core. the best way i had found was to disconnect one of the heater core lines and hook up the hose to that.
