Sounds like you are good to go! As for your A/C, the above poster is about right. I just did this to my XJ that had apparently leaked out all refrigerant--I suspect a bad evap core. But, since I refilled it, it's been working fine. Eventually I will get manifold gauges and a vacuum pump and completely evacuate the system and do it the right way, but the AutoZone A/C refill cans do the trick. Just make sure to have a gauge and read the instructions thoroughly.

Yes I have a gauge. I think I overfilled it. Filled when it was cool out and it must expand or something when its hot. Seems to only stop working when the temps are high or been running a while. Worked for the /40 minute commute home then stopped in the drive way. Checked pressure and it was way high like 100 psi. I let pressure out to about 30-45 and that seemed to fix it and it kicked backed on with a hot engine.
