Default E-Brake warning light wont shut off

I noticed when I pulled in my driveway today from work, that my E-Brake warning light will not shut off. I dont think it was doing it on the way home, I think I would have noticed that, My guess is that I hit a bump and caused a ground but I am wanting opinions before I begine digging, Any suggestions?

What do you mean did I try It? Like when I was moving to slide? It just turned on, I did try turning the brake on and off seeing if it would shut off, didnt work. I even tried grounding the wire that goes to the e brake light from the lever, that didnt work either.

in older vehicles sometime if there is a problem up front with your brakes the "parking light" will stay on, had this problem with my 88 mazd truck...just a thought

On any vehicle I ever owned if the E-brake light came on by itself it meant something was wrong with the brake system...Including my Jeep...I'd pull the wheels and check for problems...

Check your brake fluid level, if it's a little low some rigs turn that light on to let you know

Wound up being that my fluid is low, Was talking with some of the senior techs at work, and found out that my master cylinder is leaking, so am going to have to replace that to get the light to go away............... Oh well, thanks for the help guys!
