So i am replacing my d35 with a 8.25,put new brakes on it no big deal but I cant figure out where the e brake cable attaches to the 8.25 after it passes through the backing plate into the brake assembly,The e brake cable wasnt on it when I bought it and the d35 cable on mine hooks straight to the brake shoe,I cant find a good pic of the e cable set up

 

Not my pic, but the parking brake cable is attached to the parking brake lever.

You may have to dig up some new cables if yours don't have the barrel end crimped on the end and the return spring

 

Thanks I figure it out I am missing the park brake lever on both sides.I wonder if the ones from the d35 will work?Part store says they dont have it and cant get it!My brakes will work without this till I can find some...right?

Yep,cost me more in gas just to go get than they will charge for a part that small...lol

 

Just make a list of "stuff" you need or would like to have and take it with you to Pull A Part. That's what I do to justify the gas cost. Misc. nuts/bolts trim pieces spare stuff....

I could possibly do a short trip, say in the morning till like noon-ish maybe. Looks like some rain in the forecast, so might make 22 a lil' more challenging. Might hit Trail 3(up, not down this time)too.
