Default Dumb mistake with rear hatch...

So my hatch wasn't working well so I took the lever out and cleaned it up a bit, put it all together except when I closed the hatch, realized I didn't re attach the mechanism to open it... Wow... What can I do to open it again?

If you take the hatch panel off you should be able to reach your hand in there and pop it open

crawl in the back and get your fingers under the the panel just beneath the rear window. Pull it out, its held on with clips. reach down inside and you can access the latch lever with your hand. After the hatch is open the rest of the fasteners will be accessible to remove the panel completely and fix the latch.
