Default New rear shock bolt size?

What size bolts should i get for the top shock bolts? Im not gonna drill and tap so i only need the length

I knocked out the old nut that chrysler had welded in there. I replaced them with similar sizes. Just did it yesterday, 1 inch bolts would be plenty long, I used 1-1/4.

I had my wife grab them..... they were zinc coated, 1/2 inch heads. Perhaps 3/8 inch thread?

get grade 8 5/16 by 1 1/2 inches long bolts

i used self tapping bolts maybe 3/8 thick and they have been held up great. i wheeled it very hard too.
