drving fro nj to va
hey im driving from nj to va this weekend. jus figured id ask if nyone knows ny tips to save gas and ny wheelin spots in willamstown va.

Only tip to save gas would be don't drive it like you stole it or buy a Honda. I still choose option 1 despite the 12 MPG. Where are you in NJ. I live in Central NJ in the East Brunswick area.

Keeping a steady 55-60 MPH in right lane with no accelerating to pass will help. Timing will help as well, assuming your doing 295 to 95. Avoid rush hours.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is a nice drive if it's near your route.

if you don't have oversize tires, you should be good at 55 or maybe even 50. my best gas mileage was at 50mph . 24 mpg. i don't touch the gas unless i have to.

yea when i drove to Wilmington NC for a car show i was getting 37mpg in my Cobalt SS and thats a 400hp 4cyl turbo. Its sooo flat so set cruise at 55-60mph and try not to fall asleep going through VA

Take off any aftermarket roof racks & keep the tires pumped up to at least 35psi. Tune ups (esp air filter) & alignments help too. Gas is big $$$s up here in Canada, LOL.
