Driveshaft woes
Hey guys, I have an 85 XJ 2.5L Auto and the front driveshaft is a CV style with the infamous torn boot. I work at an auto parts store and cannot find this particular driveshaft. All I can find is the double cardan style or the 4 bolt flanged style. Do any of you know if there is a fix for the torn boot or if the 4 bolt flanged style will bolt up to my t-case? Pics will follow when I get home.

Why not get yokes and shaft from newer xj that way its eliminated forever and rebuildable.

I guess that would require me to pull a tcase and front driveshaft together and then swap the output shaft into my tcase?
