Driveshaft issues

I have aw4 and a 8.8 rear so one inch and a front shaft matching my 91 is perfect
Hey Mike I have checked that and the hardening is is just 1/32 thick, if i grind it off the center i can do that.

I have been doing a lot of research on this and yes you my get away with that but you will need to tap very slow with lots of lubricant
and if you did not get rid of all the tempering you can bust a drill or even worse a tap of in the hole

do your self a favor and cut 1/4
