My electric-adjustable driver's seat wobbles. The floor-bolts are tight. Anyone else have this problem? … And have successfully corrected the problem?

 

Yes. I swapped out the crappy electric seat bracket for a manual seat bracket.

 

I want the functions of a power-seat...

 

My Dad used to tell me "Want in one hand and crap in the other...see which one fills up first."

i have a similar problem but mines spinnin seats

Advice for yourself I'm thinking?

 

the electric motor/s have loosened and the gears are not flush in the track system. still will work fine but to correct unbolt seat assemble and tighten the servos down. mine has the exact same issue. be you a dollar n a donut you have a 4 door XJ.

now back to my substance abuse problem

bet your also close to 6' and close to 200lbs... the shorter doors force a tall big guy into the seat with a plop (even worse with a lift, higher plop factor). after time that wears on the tack system. if not you, was the previous owner close to that descrip???

 

The electric seat on my 1995, 4-door XJ has the same problems too.

 

Damn... Did I leave the webcam on again!!!

 

watch out for full figured significant others... they do the same thing to passneger sides. ask me how i know.
