i plan on swaping out my electric seats for manuel just for the same reason we're having but having a hard time finding the buckskin color seat the late 80's early 90's had. the later models have that butterscotch color that just don't sit well in my interior

Remove the seat from the vehicle.
Remove the seat back.
Turn the seat upside down and take photos of how the seat springs, frame, hog rings, etc. are attached.
Remove the springs, wire frame, fabric cover, etc.
Pull the bottom seat cover off.
Inspect the frame for cracked structure. Mine was pretty bad.
I hammered the cracked structures back into place and clamped them into place. Ten drilled 1/8" holes for steel pop rivets. Riveted the structure in place then had it welded at the breaks.
Derusted the legs of the seat frame.
Painted the framework with Rust-oleum flat black primer and the legs that would be exposed when installed gloss black, then reassembled the lower seat support structure, following the photos I took.
Did some seat cushion work to get the wrinkles out.
I don't have pics of the seat cushion work or weldments.

Excellent work! Thanks for the details!
My manual adjust seat hand a loose back. It was so bad I nearly fell into the back seat when I sat in it. I fixed it; here's how (if you want to take the project on).
