Default Drive Shaft Replacement

To start i would like to say i did a Search for "Drive Shaft" and it came up empty so that is why i am posting my own post.

I just bought a 94 Cherokee 2dr 4wd I6 4.0 and had the seller take out the driveshaft so that i could tow it back to town.

What is proper replacement method

Stick the splined end into the back of the trans, put the other end against the the yoke on the diff.

Use the straps and bolts to fasten it in place.

Check to be sure the trans fluid level is good as some may have leaked out.

Says 4wd, but same process except transfer case. Instead of transmission. But if it 4wd I don't see why they pulled the shaft.

Yeah, i knew what he meant.
And with it being an Automatic it would still put hardship on the shaft since it was on Front Wheel Tow Dolly supposedly

For future reference, you can just put the transfer case in neutral and be fine.
