Will a front drive shaft from a 2000 cherokee fit on a 1997 cherokee?

If it has the same transmission then yes the front driveshaft should work just dandy.

I just looked in your profile and if its for your auto cherokee, it should work fine. Hope that helps.

It is for my 1997 jeep cherokee with auto trans and its from a 2000 xj with an auto trans so it should work so glad i finaly got one on order lol.
