Drive Shaft Idea?
I have a 90 2 door 5 speed cherokee and about to put a 6 inch lift on it and was wondering whats the cheapest way to get me around for a little while on the rear drive shaft cause im pretty sure it will be to short and i dont feel like throwing drive shafts out lol
Hack and tap SYE?
yeah, i'm saying you should do a hack and tap slip yoke eliminator...it is pretty cheap, takes some work but will work pretty much the same as a real one (vibration etc...) search the forum for instructions on how to do one

You can. Get an rr sye new on eBay for about 200 and a jy front driveshaft cheap. If you screw up and cut the main shaft crooked it will be out of balance. Plus the real sye has a stronger mainshaft. Don't know.why people go with.the hack n.tap. if I didn't get laid off at the machine shop I would make my own and chuck he mainshaft up in the lather to ensure a square cut then I would go for it.... not using a cut off wheel or port-a-band though.
