Default Drag when turning in 4wd?

Hello all. This is my first post here. I've got a 2000 sport and just started having an issue with it. It sleeted/rained and the roads iced up. I went out to pick up some food and used the 4wd. I use 4wd off road or in ice only, not on dry pavement. I noticed as I pulled back into my driveway there was noticeable drag, as if the brakes were applied. I backed out and drove straight and it felt as though something released and it drove fine. Pulled back into the driveway and it did the same thing as I turned in. Backed back out and put it in 2wd and the issue is gone. Is it possible the cold weather is affecting it somehow or is something jacked? It typically isn't cold here (Dallas,TX) but is in the low 20's today (80 and sunny yesterday- ha).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Sounds normal. Every 4X4 I have ever owned does the same thing. When turning the wheel hard and in 4wd, it feels like it's dragging.....RR

Thanks for the input. It only seemed to do it when I made the hard right into my driveway. Didn't ever check on a hard left. I went out again and it didn't do it on any turns that weren't hard.
