this is just my case.........

I replaced my TCU but i was getting ALOT of codes and major shifting issues......i removed one from a 00 to put in my 98...However i had no idea if they were the same but figured what the hell............No problems 15K miles later.....

Try checking the TPS (throttle position sensor), I don't think it was mentioned before.

what sucks is that i hooked it up to a scan tool and it didn't even spit out a code. I might just try swapping out the tps again and maybe seeing if i can pick up a cheap tcu from the jy and take it from there.
