Hi everyone! I have been having transmission issues with my 04 Cherokee limited 4.7- I hope somebody out there can help

Heres my symptoms:
When I'm cruising around 65 or so, the transmission will downshift unexpectedly a gear ( sometimes two! ) which shoots my rpms through the roof. It doesn't normally go back into the correct gear until I turn the engine off and on again. At that point it acts normally for the duration of the drive (20-30 minutes). I just shift to neutral, turn it off and on again, shift to drive and it seems to reset.

Also, sometimes the transmission doesn't correctly downshift when I come to a stop.....either it will downshift real "hard" or it wont downshift at all!

The check engine light codes came up for transmission fluid pressure sensors/ switch.

Took it to a mechanic and he dropped the pan, no metal or anything out of the ordinary. So we changed the fluid and filters- still the same issues

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, my jeep friends!
