One drawback is the fact that it is a unibody. The doors are part of the structural integrity.... Just a thought.

I have a purple 99 and took doors off. It's fun if it's done right. My hinges got pulled out of the unibody and we weren't able to get it fixed up till last week. I live at 9000ft in Colorado and they came off in early March. We got snow up until last week. If I hadda do it again I probably wouldn't.

Is there a certain way to get the hinge pin out? I took the passenger door off on my 2-door but couldn't get the pin out after beating on it. I sprayed penetrating oil and let it soak, but still no movement. Maybe I was hitting it the wrong way. I thought I read the driver side door the hinge pin needs to be hit from the bottom and the passenger side needs to be hit from the top. Is that right?

Limb risers. They are used to protect the lights/windshield/snorkel from tree limbs. It's a land rover thing usually

Branch catchers. They lift trees off the windshield while on the trail.
