I've seen that "writeup", been browsing and can't find much info... Was hoping someone here could have insight. I want to do the swap as to have one piece windows and updated interior door panel as the 86 has NOTHING on the panel besides the window lever and door handle.... Need door speakers also.

There are no details... it's very lacking for a build "guide".
I needed to know about the relocation of the striker and the locks and such. I was just wondering if anyones done the swap/upgrade on their 96- 2 door or door.

idk Ive read thru that write-up and seems pretty straight forward install. Yea they dont say move the the striker 2 inches up but thats because things change from vehicle to parts. They said grad the new striker and measure the difference in the doors to find where it should go. The lock cylinders are just held in with clips on the inside of the door and you have to remove the rods and out they come

Thanks Jerm! I was just trying to do research before I tackled it by myself. I have very limited Jeep knowledge, Ex-Ram owner myself. Just wanted to see if I could do it in one day and have to not rekey the door.
