i was in the process of making my doors removeable when i went to close the door it wouldnt close. looked at it relised the pice is jammed i tryed freeing it tryied even messing with locking and unlocking it. i cant figure it out. this is whats jammed

 

try pusing the button on the door handle at the same time you push on latch

 

ive been tring that even useing my fingers to push on it fron the inside

 

have you tried locking and un locking the door

 

yea the door lock has allways acted up but i tryied messing with it in everyway i can think of

 

hit the junk yard pull them from a four door xj the back doors take the same latch as front just need to use a clip from the old ones to the new ,back door latches are in better shape because of less use than fronts
