Does anybody have a Intake System?
home made snorkel
I cut off the normal intake and cut it into a piece which blocked the stock intake location and jb welded it and siliconed the crap out of it. I then drilled a hole in the backside which I ran my sewer hose from routed through the engine and through the cowel where I have an adapter to 3" outer diameter pvc and a 4" cap. Works well should get to test it during the upcoming Javelina season on the 18th of February.
It cost me about $30 total and I get a ton of compliments on it. Should function perfect too after all who goes over the windshield in water anyways.
Great cheap easy mod. Also I can still use the stock filters.

you do know that with the head pointed that way your not getting any air into the motor? there is a negative pressure behind the head like that. most good heads have water traps so you wont need to worry about getting water into your motor.
