I own a 1990 Base Model Cherokee. I removed the cross rails from the factory roof rack in order to sand, patch and paint the roof. I was storing the cross-rails in the back of the Jeep and somehow my dog managed to kick one of the BOLTS out of the vehicle that screws the cross rail down to the roof.

I've been trying to find an exploded diagram that would show the part name or number for the plastic-headed bolt but haven't fund one yet. Attached is a photo; I'm just needing the bolt.

Might you know either the part name or part number? Or, better yet, might you have one to sell???

I don't see that listed as a separate part in the parts guide. My '88 looks very different. In the later guides it's called:

P/N 55074653
SCREW, Crossrail to Stanchion

However, generically they're call **** Screws or "clamping" screws. You can find them online or at a home center. Don't know the thread pitch but take one with you to compare..

 

I had those on a Pontiac station wagon. Thread was an M6. But could be different on the Jeep.
