Do Relays have AMP Ratings
The Relay on my A/C went out so I replaced it with one I had as an extra, but it was black instead of gray worked good for a week but now the relay went bad again. Do different color relays have different amp rates like the fuses do? Anyone know why it burned out the relay?

The first relay had something broken inside. It would rattle when I shaked it. And the one it broke today just didn't make contact cause it would not click inside.

if you run too much current through them youll cause too much arcing across the contacts, which will cover them in carbon, which doesnt conduct electricity.
if its burning out the coil then theres a problem in the trucks wiring, cause that shouldnt happen.
also a small chance you had 2 crappy relays in a row

yep... replace with the proper amp rating one... and... you might have soemthing going on to cause it to start pulling more amps... like clutch on compressor going ... or even low on freon can cause it to run... harder.. draw more amps...
