choose carefully when interchanging thru different years & makes, not all will be direct plug/bolt on....the only way to get higher output from an alternator is bigger internal components & in turn, bigger casing.....upsizing from the factory 90A to a 136A requires grinding to the mount & in some cases (like mine) adaptations to the field/ground wires that attach to the alternator....i have a 98 xj that i installed a JY 136A, verified at an auto electric shop....i didnt kno better at the time, but i was given a 99-00 light dodge truck/van by the JY....i looked up the part #'s, after realizing it was not a direct bolt on

93CherokeeLimited - be cautious when swapping an alternator from a different year than yours....i'd find '93 higher outputs or find a shop that'll re-wind & clean/upgrade the internals of your casing & maybe you can achieve ~120A

with this case it might not require grinding to the mount, but still keep in mind electrical connections

99+ cherokees came from factory with 117A alternators....mounting is pretty different, might need a bit more modification than electrical/mounting to fit your application

Here's a site with Moper-Jeep OEM parts catalogs. http://www.xjjeeps.com/tech_referenc...section=2&ID=0 I believe 130 amp alternators where offered, Came in the winter pkg. Because I have a 130 amp. according to my build sheet. Here's to site to get build sheets. http://www.jeep.com/wccsapp/universa...ull&category=U
