Default Do I need to adjust my Track bar?

I have a 2000 sport and I just had an alignment done. When driving the jeep still "floats" a little and they suggested installing a stabillizer. I have also heard that a track bar if it is too short can cause this as well. I have a 4" Superlift. Any thoughts and if I need to adjust it how do I do it? Will it alter the alignment I just got?

If you have a 4" lift and you didn't move the stock track bar or if you didn't get an adjustable one your axle will not be centered. I would definitely invest in an adjustable one.

I do have an adjustable trac bar. Came with the superlift kit that the PO installed.

Is it adjusted correctly? Your floating could also be contributed to a bent tie rod or faulty tie rod end.

Sorry just read your first post.

Adjust it to make sure the axle is centered under your XJ the right way.

Are there specific measurement points that I can work from to make sure that the axle is centered? I've never done it before and it makes me a little nervous.
