Do Grand Cherokee ZJ Seats fit Cherokee XJ
Anyone ever fit ZJ Seats in an XJ? The leather seats in my 90 are beyond beat, actually look like a lion shredded them. I like the ZJ's seats but am not sure if theyll bolt right up. Anyone do a seat swap or will I be drilling holes in the floor?

just answered my own question... throught the similar threads links on the bottom... 99-04 Grand Cherokee Seats will bolt right onto the tracks.

ha thats funny... i JUST pulled some WJ leather seats and took measurements and it looks like with new holes drilled in the floors the back seats will work real easily... was more worried about fabing the front... but not anymore!! lol

buying this wrecked WJ is the frickin best idea... lol... knuckles... dual piston brakes... over the knuckle steering... dual diaphram brake booster... front and rear leather seats...maybe rear disc brakes... heck i think the dang 242 has a SYE cause i cant get the dang driveshaft off... lol

Hell yes...
Yep. Looking for a cheap wrecked ZJ myself. My jeep got this p.o.s. out of date ABS actuator pump that doesnt work for sht. The brakes have no booster and are controlled by this pump so its like I have manual brakes. The part is around $500-$1000 so Im lookin to swap it out to a non ABS brake booster. Plus I need the damn seats... lookin for a total wreck... something rear ended bad for a couple hundred. The junkyard is a budget jeep mechanics best friend...

i think i just took one of them things off the WJ... sits by the brake booster with abunch of lines going into the top and a big ole wire harness plug? i was wondering what that thing was...

Since im here i might as well ask.......i have a 97 XJ, will the ZJ grand cherokee seats bolt right up to my factory mounting bracket? or do i have to fab somethin up? And also would it make the people that sit in the back seat have less leg room? there already isn't much room back there which is why im asking? Thanks
