Do all XJs come with a T-Case skid??
I couldn't find the answer on Google, so I thought I would ask here.
Do all XJ's come with a T-case skid? or was it only the ones with the up-country package?
My XJ has the Laredo trim package if it matters.

There were several models that had them on them Usually renix era with a tow package although I have seen some without it then.
Maybe All up-countries came with or you could get it added on when needed.
I am at about 50% on finding them on the old renix era jeeps. Mainly the limited.
I just know scouring junkyards I have seen them on every kind of model they have there.

It was a factory option you could choose when ordering any 4wd XJ or MJ.

The skid plate package was part of some of the model's package but was able to be ordered on it's own, too.
I'm speaking from experience from 1986 to 1992 when I special ordered all 13 of my Comanche demos at the dealership. I don't know for sure what they did later than that.

Yea just a factory option like so many other things. I have 2 identical 95 sports from the outside, but on is a stripper model and the other is loaded.
