I am pretty sure I have narrowed down that my small oil leak is coming from underneath my distributor....what the easiest way to change this rascal? I see 1 bolt holding a bracket that holds the distributor on I can't seem to be able to get a wrench to it though

 

That 1 bolt is all you need to remove. Slide the clamp back and the dizzy comes out. BE SURE TO MARK ON THE DIZZY HOUSING WHERE THE ROTOR IS POINTED BEFORE REMOVAL.,

 

Is the dizzy the shaft that the rotor goes on? And is the clamp inside the distributor? Thanks for all the info this has been a thorn in my side

 

Dizzy is slang for distributor. The clamp is at the base of the distributor toward the front of the engine, under the bolt.
