in that artical they list part number for 3in longer shocks you can get at your parts store. take that number to your local parts store and have them reference it to the cheapest kinda shocks they carry. they should be able to find something cheap enough for ya

I asked this exact same question a year or two ago and got a number of replies. I`ll try to search my old posts and find the thread tomorrow.

ok so i was on rockauto trying to find longer shocks and all that and saw that all the monroe shocks had the extended compresed and travel of ever shock so i went on monroes web site and found this!!!! they have every shock they make with all the dimensions of each of them so i got a list of around 15 shocks that will work for a 4 inch lift on my cherokee.

if anyone else is interested here is the link of all the shocks

http://www.monroe.com/catalog/docume...engthSheet.pdf

so for any costom shocks lengths you can go here and get the part numbers and than go to your local auto parts store or go on e bay or rockauto with the part number. hope this can help out other people as much as it helped me!!!

I paid $150 for all four brand new Rough Country nitro's, the hydro's are even cheaper.
