Hello Guyz ,

Am new to this forum and I have been reading ur posts and this place seems the best place to ask my questions

My questions are :
what's the real difference between gulf spec and American spec jeep xj ,
Regarding , axils and gear ratios and most of the things,
My experience is I bought an Xj 96 manual gulf spec,
And it was really powerful , third gear I reach 160 km with the same torque of second gear ,
And forth gear reach the car to its max speed ,
But now I bought an American spec XJ 94 ,
First and second has good torque ,
But the third and specially forth gear are really weak .. The car doesn't even go more than 170 km and when I shift it to forth gear as if I like I lose the momentum and torque .
I wanna know what's the difference ,why the gulf spec stock XJ 96 is way powerful in all gears not like the American spec ,.
Can some1 provide a manufacturer details of the gulf spec XJ ..
Or from the expertise of the people , problem might be identified ,
And my XJ 94 is strong in first and second gear .
Maybe it's the engine old , can't make sure of tht cuz the car seems to be working just fine ..
Any way of knowing and identifying such problems Guyz
