How do I check the bolts? Can I tighten them without pulling the tranny? The noise did quiet when I added lucas before. It has since come back as I think the lucas has thinned out.

Yes you can check the bolts without pulling the trany,just pull the inspection cover and see if they are tight,you can check for cracks at the sametime.

What size are the bolts for the inspection plate and the bolts themselves? Also how many quarts of oil does the 4.0 require?
