you may be able to adjust it just loosen the two screws and slide it up the column just a lil bit then tighten one screw and try your key in all positions including accy. if it works tighten both screws

 

Thank you to everyone that posted an idea as to what the problem might have been. It appears that it was the starter relay. I tested it and it showed bad. Replaced it Sunday morning and have not had a problem since. Again thank you.
