Defrost, vents closing?? vacuum leak?

I installed a new V-line and still no change so I decided to pull the dash apart and figure out what the issue was..
I found the arm that is supposed to operate the defrost door, was broken so I temporarily taped the door open. Everything seems to work fine now..
