You people must be short, LOL. I can comfortably rest my foot on the floorboard/firewall, a dead pedal would just be in the way.

I need one in my XJ because I'm short and the floorpan in my WJ is built with one in the metal. I just had an idea. How about a short piece of light duty angle iron with an old gas pedal welded/bolted onto it?

No room in a manual trans XJ for one.... Would be very nice to have though. All my other manual vehicles have one and I always use it.
