So my dash lights will be very bright sometimes (I imagine its the "normal" amount of brightness), and sometimes they will be very dim. They are very dim more often then not. And its not just the dash lights, its all the lights that turn on inside your jeep when you turn on your head lights. The head lights seem to be consistently bright however. Anyone have any clue what might be causing this? Or where to even start looking? Thanks.

 

Uhh is it the dimmer switch on the headlights ****?

 

The little **** that you pull out to turn on the headlights - turn it one way and it dims the lights, turn it the other way and they get brighter

 

If its not that simple, maybe the whole ****/dimmer thing needs to be replaced

Haha no problem. And if your interior lights (floor lights, and overhead lights) stay on all the time, you have the **** turned all the way and it will click If it's turned all the way.

 

Lol o found out one night when I couldn't see anything went and called my dad he's like yea that **** twists , I was like slap to the face oh hahaha

HAHAHA first time I got my xj I couldn't find out why my dome light wouldn't shut up. I drove around all night with them on!
