Default Dash leaks when it rains

I have a 2001 Cherokee sport. When it rains I have water coming inside the car underneath the dash on the passenger side. Its dripping or running actually underneath the glove box and lands on the passengers feet. If I open the glove box it's wet in there as well. Where should I look to patch it up? Anybody else experience something like this? Any repair suggestions? Thanks for you help.

Last time I had something like this was when I was a kid. My parents bought me a 1978 ford pinto "new". When winter came I turned on the defrost and snow blew out of the top of the dash board into the car.

The HVAC drain could be plugged up and letting rain water build up and leak out of the HVAC case. Look under the hood for the drain on the passenger side firewall and try to clear it out with a small piece of wire. You may also have a windshield leak around the outer edges of the glass/seal.
