Default dash cluster???

I am 94 cherokee. It just has the oil, temp, and battery lights (just lights, does not have gauges). Is there any way to take a cluster out with gauges and hook it up to mine that didnt have gauges to start with.

Yep you can do the swap. For your 94 I think you need a cluster from a 91-96, but I'm not 100% positive. The swap is easy and you'll just have to buy a new water temp and oil sender. If you search you can prob get more specific info.

Yes, you'll need a cluster with the digital speedometer '91-'96, you will also need new oil pressure and temperature sending units. It's a easy swap.

Just did one yesterday, super easy to do. Just be careful with the bezel and make sure you remove all FOUR screws that secure it.

ok thanks for the information. the oil sending unit do you have to just wire one in with the same wires that the old one when to or do the plugs match up.

Is there an online resource with instructions on how to do this anywhere? I'd like to do it as well. My '94 just has idiot lights as well.

The sending units are plug n play. Its all very easy to do. Just unscrew, unplug, and plug. Same with the actual gauges.

Remove the four screws that secure the bezel around the cluster (two above the gauges, one over the cig lighter socket, and one over the rear defroster switch), carefully remove the bezel, remove the six screws that secure the cluster, pull the left side of the cluster out enough to get to the long white plug, squeeze the ends of the plug together and unplug from the cluster, now you will find a smaller black plug at the center of the cluster, sqeeze the blue locking tabs together and pull up to unplug, now the old cluster is ready to come out. Replacing the sending units is just a matter of uncrewing them and screwing the new ones in. The oil sender is right above the oil filter adapter, and the temp sender in on the left side of the cylinder head right above the #6 fuel injector.
