Default Darn low washer light

Searched around on forums and found no info.
When i offroad or even onroad pavement the low washer light comes on.
Fluid is full, the wash squiters work. So why does this light come on?
1 of jeeps known problems or just a hicup?
Any info would be great and thnx in advance.

A very common problem. What happens is the float in the wiper fluid tank gets filed with crud which causes it not to float. I have had this happen to 3 out of 4 of my XJ's. You can replace the float system or just unplug the wires at the tank. I just unpluged mine. It only take a couple of seconds to check the level while you are checking all the other fluid levels. Hope this helps.

You can actually remove it, clean it up and reinstall it.

I actually did try cleaning mine and they would only work for about a week each time. That's why I ended up just unplugging them.
