I have two 93 xj's with 4 cyls in a junkyard near me. One is Manuel and one is auto, Would both have 4.10 gears or just the manual vs auto? Thnks

The manual definitely will. The auto might have 4.10:1 or even 4.56:1, which was behind some 3-speeds.

99 % yes 456 are extremely extremely rare.

Man I wish I could find a 4cyl XJ in a pick 'n' pull around here!

Gotta go every weekend took me along time to find mine. Don't count out 96 and up 2wd 4 banger for a rear 8.25 Stick it in garage then keep hunting for 4wd for front.

Come to cheyenne Wyoming, there are a dozen 93+ Cherokees in the jy.

I'm about finished with an 8.8 to put under mine, and want a already geared Dana to match. Shops want an arm and leg out here for regear.

I agree with those shop prices, they're crazy. Which yard has those 93's? Been looking around but haven't found much. I thought 4cyl stuck to 5spd gave 3.55s.

I found 95 4cyl stick. Would that have a D30 hp with 4.10s?

Yes should always confirm remove cover count teeth on ring and pinion gears. Divide ring into pinion just in case some one did swap thru its life time.
