Default Dana 35 rear questions

I was in the junkyard today getting another heat control switch (Seems like I break one every year or two) and the '92 XJ I was getting it from had a Dana 35 rear on it. Basically my questions are, is there any value to this as far as me getting it and swapping out my stock Chrysler rear and/or is it worth getting and trying to sell? Thanks.

Just to make it clear that this isint a typo you want to swap your C8.25 for a D35?

You would be down grading your rear axle for a smaller weaker axle.

I guess that answers my questions. I had just seen people mentioning Dana rears in some threads and knew nothing about what was what except for memorizing from the photos which was which number wise. I shall leave it where it sits to await the crusher.

the 29 spline 8.25 is the strong one and was offerd in the 97 or newer. The op has a 27 spline 8.25 and is no better than the turdy five. I would swap to a 29 spline if you want to upgrade.
